Hollywood superstar, and former junior dog-handler, Rebel Wilson hosts the American adaptation of competitive dog grooming series Pooch Perfect. It features 10 professional dog groomers, and their assistants, battling it out across a series of heats and incredible challenges to reveal epic ‘transfurmations’ of adored family pets. Every week, the grooming teams reveal their creations on the ‘Dogwalk’, where they are judged by television personality Lisa Vanderpump, celebrity dog groomer Jorge Bendersky and veterinarian Dr Callie Harris. There’s a dramatic elimination every week up until the season finale, where the top three teams compete for a cash prize and the coveted Pooch Perfect trophy.
