Beyond Action’s sports show celebrating Pacific athletes and sports returns to ABC, Australia’s leading public broadcaster, on 7th April.
Pacific athletes are rightly known around the world for their skill, speed and physicality. Across the globe, they famously dominate Rugby League and Rugby Union competitions. That Pacific Sports Show aims to share their stories, explore issues affecting them and the competitions in which they play.
The show is hosted by Tiana Penitani, NSW NRLW, State of Origin and Olympic 7’s rugby union player, who is of Tongan heritage. Tiana is joined by Dene Halatau, former NZ International and NRL legend. Frank Chidiac is EP on the show, with Denise Reardon series producer/director, Susanne Morrison as production supervisor and Fiona Hewish as production manager.
