A screenwriter and producer, Tony Cavanaugh’s many credits include The Flying Doctors, which he co-created, the multi-award winning The Day of the Roses and Through My Eyes. He also created, wrote and produced Fire and Medivac (AKA Adrenalin Junkies) and, more recently, has worked as a story consultant on Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries and Seachange. His feature film credits include Once Were Warriors, Nine Miles Down and I Am You starring Guy Pearce and Sam Neill. He also wrote and produced Father starring the award-winning Max von Sydow.
In 2012 Tony took a hiatus from the film and television industry and wrote a number of novels including Promise, Dead Girl Sing, The Train Rider, Kingdom of the Strong and, most recently, Blood River. Published by Hachette in Australia and Sonatine in France, Tony is a winner of the 2019 Prix du Meilleur Polar.
