Louise started her TV career as an actor, completing the Meisner Technique training, as well as NIDA’s acclaimed screen actor program. She has since added a Bachelor of Media Communications and a Masters in Creative Practice to her credentials, specialising in screenwriting, narrative drama and fiction writing. Louise has also taught acting at Byron Bay Film and Television School as well as the New York Film Academy, where she has held the post of deputy chair of the acting program. Louise wrote, produced, directed and starred in her first short film, Pugatorio, in 2012 and has gone on to appear in feature films such as Fame Game and TV series including Rake and Rescue Special Ops. Today, she uses her experience to contribute diverse, inclusive and gender balanced stories for the film and TV market. Her TV series The Takeaway Kids has been picked up for development with ABC Australia.
